Plaza de España [Seville, Spain] in photos

Address: Av de Isabel la Católica, 41004 Sevilla (Located inside Parque de María Luisa)

Nearest metro station: L-1 Prado de San Sebastián

Tips:

  • If you have the time, visit the plaza during the day and at night as the plaza is known to be beautiful at night time too. Unfortunately, I was only in Seville for one night and didn’t have time :(
  • The plaza is located away from the center of the city and other tourist attractions (20 minute walk from Seville Cathedral), so it is best to take the metro or taxi on a hot summer day.

Before I visited Seville, Plaza de España represented Seville to me (similar to how people think of the Eiffel Tower first when they think of Paris). And when I visisted Plaza de España  in person, it did not disappoint me and it remains as my favourite part of Seville.
