Frigiliana, Spain in photos

Frigiliana is also known as the ‘Santorini of Spain.

Similar to Santorini, Frigiliana is a small town with white houses.

It’s a very cute town and is a popular day trip location from Nerja or Granada (you can do a day trip from Granada to Nerja and Frigiliana if you start your day early and coordinate the bus times).

It takes about 2 hours total to see the whole town as the town is not big.  I would definitely recommend going to Frigiliana if you are visiting south of Spain ;)

How to get to Frigiliana from Nerja:

1. Bus

There is a frequent bus service from Nerja to Frigiliana.

Click here for the bus schedule. One way bus ride costs 1 euro.

**  The Frigiliana bus only operates from Monday to Saturday (not on Sundays, so if you are going to Nerja on a Sunday, you would have to use the taxi option below)

2. Taxi

One way costs around 10 euros.

This would be the best way to get to Frigiliana from Nerja on a Sunday (unless you have a car) as the Frigiliana bus does not operate on Sundays.
