Famous for: one of the famous Michelin Star restaurants in Paris (It used to be a 3 star, but now is a 2 star. I have been to 2 star restaurants in NYC before, but felt like this one was a lot better than other Michelin 2 star restaurants)

  • They offer set menus for lunch. Prices change depending on what’s on the set menu. When I was there in August 2014, the lunch set menu price was 145 euros for a 4 course meal and 185 euros a 5 course meal (if you are a female dining at the restaurant with a male, then only the male’s menu will have the price, the female’s menu won’t have the price)
  • They are also famous for their seaweed butter that they offer with the bread (pictured below) – something that’s very unique and delicious!
  • They also give you a box of candies to take home after the meal (pictured below)

  • Four Seasons George V hotel is also famous for the works of the flourist Jeff Leatham, who changes the flower display every 3 weeks. You can see the beautiful flower decorations at the lobby of the hotel in the photos below. (I am not sure if it’s true, but I have heard rumours that the hotel has a flower budget of 1million euros per year!)

Recommended for: those who want to experience a Michelin star restaurant experience in Paris for a relatively decent price (Believe it or not, the lunch set menu price here is decent compared to other 3 star Michelin restaurants, because some of them only offer an a la carte menu, which ends up being a lot more pricey)

* There is a dress code in effect – elegant casual for lunch (a blazer is required for men); more formal for dinner
