Praktik Metropol [Madrid, Spain]

  • Located in Madrid, Spain
  • Address: 47 Montera Street
  • Closest metro station: Gran Via (when you come out of Gran Via station, you will see a building with McDonald’s and the hotel is in the same building as McDonald’s)
  • Reservations: can be made online from their website (click here) or other hotel booking websites such as expedia and agoda
  • Rates: varies depending on the season and type of room (ranges from about 60 to 110 Euros)
  • Overall: It is a boutique hotel, so it has the boutique hotel feel to it (as you can see from the pictures below). The rooms are quite small, but has everything you need and is clean. I was in Madrid for just one night and I didn’t have any issues during my stay. The thing missing in the room was a fridge. Wifi at the hotel is not the strongest, but I think that’s how wifi generally is in Spain (based on all of the hotels I’ve been to during my 10 days in Spain). The best part about this hotel is the location. It is located in a very central area of Madrid, right by Gran Via station. It is close to most of the tourist attractions by foot. For a list of tourist attractions near by the hotel, click here. I would recommend this hotel if you are in Madrid for a short period of time like me (so being in the centre of the city is important) and you don’t mind the small size of the rooms as long as it is clean
