Itinerary: Hong Kong & Macau in 4 days


Day 1 – Arrival day in Hong Kong

  1. Arrive in HK
  2. Check-in at hotel
  3. Afternoon tea (reservation required)
  4. Sightseeing + Dinner in Tsim Sha Tsui
  5. Victoria Peak

Tip: I recommend buying tickets for Victoria peak and Ngong Ping 360 at the airport, since the line up to buy tickets is very long at Victoria Peak.

Day 2 – Full day in Hong Kong

  1. Ngong Ping 360
  2. Lunch & Shopping at Citygate outlets (this outlet mall is right in front of the Ngong Ping cable car entrance)
  3. Harbour City Centre
  4. Take Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central (Star Ferry terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui is walking distance from Harbour City Centre)
  5. Sightseeing in International Financial Centre (IFC) area
  6. Avenue of Stars
  7. Symphony of lights (8pm)

Day 3 – Day trip to Macau

1. Take Turbo (red) Ferry from Kowloon to Old Macau
2. Sightseeing in Macau

  • Start from Old Macau and move to New Macau
  • Try: almond cookies @ Koi Kei Bakery, Portuguese egg tarts at the Venetian hotel, famous lobster congee at Seng Ceong

3. Leave Macau – Take blue ferry from New Macau to Central
4. Night out in Lan Kwai Fong

  1. Mid level escalators near Central
  2. Tai Choeng Bakery (Famous for egg tarts)

  4. Leave hotel for airport
